Pink Shirt Day was a huge sucess!

Posted on

Thank you for continuing to be kind, Knights! Pink Shirt Day was a huge success. The Grade 4s and 5s had the exciting opportunity to attend the Hitmen game at the Saddledome. The Calgary Hitmen triumphed over the Swift Current Broncos with a 3-0 victory in front of more than 17,000 students and teachers during the annual TELUS Be Brave #EndBullying game.

Meanwhile, students in other grades spread kindness throughout the school with sticky notes and butterflies featuring uplifting messages. The Grade 2s even held a special kindness parade to celebrate the day. What an inspiring way for everyone to come together in support of kindness and the important message of ending bullying!

Land Acknowledgment

Rocky View Schools would like to acknowledge the land and recognize all the Indigenous Peoples whose footprints have marked these lands from time immemorial. Together, we can learn and honour the Ways of Knowing of Indigenous Peoples for all future generations.
